COMMUNITY AGREEMENTS
Policy Commitments
Community members agree to abide by the following policies at the beginning of each school year:
Incident Reporting Process
Reports can be made in person to any member of the Interim Code of Conduct (CoC) Committee (their names are listed below), or via the Incident Report web form. This form is confidential and will only be viewed by members of the CoC Committee. Responses will not be shared beyond those individuals without your express permission. If you are uncomfortable making a report to the entire team, please contact any individual committee member with whom you feel comfortable. If a Committee member is not around, please email a member of the CoC Committee listed below, and we will arrange a time to meet with you within 1-3 business days.
If a community member or visitor engages in harassing behavior at an Austin Keystone Academy activity or event, the CoC Committee may take any action they deem appropriate, including issuing a warning to the offender or expelling them from the activity (with no refund). If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact the CoC Committee immediately.
Code of Conduct Committee
The Code of Conduct Committee is comprised of a mix of teachers and parents from the organization. The committee is in charge of responding to reports of CoC violations and monitoring the Incident Report web form for reports of issues regarding the organization. They are available for one-on-one help with navigating interpersonal situations as well. If a CoC committee member was involved in a reported incident, or if they have a conflict of interest (or others will perceive they do) they must recuse themselves.
